Well, I have some good news and some bad news, for all three of you readers. First, the good news: I'm going to have my third child in Feb. 2005. God has blessed us with two wonderful little boys Joshua (7) and Caleb (4). Everyone and their brother keeps on asking me 'So, do you think it's gonna be a girl this time?' Uh, I don't mind when my family asks that, but from strangers or church goers, it gets a tad bit annoying. The best thing in world that someone said to me was from a lady at my church from Nigeria that just had her 4th son. She didn't even ask me what everyone else had been asking, she didn't dare. Because she knows how it feels. She just came right up to me and said matter of factly, 'Ka-lene, it going to be a boy, just wait. Look at me. I wanted and prayed for a girl. No, I get four boys.' Then she looked up into the sky as if to ask God why He had done this to her. I felt so bad for her. But there is hope for me. It's just not up to me what I have. I don't care what it is. As long as it's healthy, and it doesn't scream it's head off.
Now for the bad news: I've misplaced my wedding ring on 4th of July. I put it by the computer, put lotion on my feet, went to church. A lot of people came and watched fireworks at our house. (Family and a couple of friends.) No one came into our bedroom that day. I started to look for my ring, because it's not where I left it. I tore up my whole room looking for that thing. It's been four days. I am very upset and sad about this. My husband gave me that ring when we didn't have a lot of money. And it's a very nice ring. It just has so many memories attached to it. On the same note the Bible does say to lay up your treasures in Heaven. I'm trying, but I also don't want everyone to think that I'm a single mother with another one on the way. Our Anniversary is on Aug. 3. I hope we can find it before then. We can't really afford to buy another one right now. I'll just have to go to 'Claires' Accessory shop and buy a fake looking ring. I don't know what else to do.
