I'm planning a birthday party for my husband. It really started out as Joshua wanting me to buy him a Sombrero that he saw in the Oriental Trading Co. Catalog. He loves the whole Mexican theme right now. So, since Joshua's birthday is like 6 months away, I decided to throw my husband a fiesta for his birthday. Joshua's been known to be obsessed with certain subjects for long periods of time. Maybe I'll save the decorations and reuse them for his 8th birthday in Jan. The way that I remember what Joshua loved for the whole year was what theme we had for his birthday that year, and what he was for Halloween that year. These are just a few of what he has loved throughout the years: Prince of Egypt, Castles, Batman, Spiderman, Sponge Bob, Army, LOTR. At the moment, he loves every type of gun, sword, or weapon. He especially loves the mace, and is greatly upset at the fact that they don't sell those as toys. I guess we should take him to Medieval Times, and to a place that has a mariachi band. He would love that.
