It was Bryan and Kristin's 1st Anninversary on the 20th. Congratulations! It went by so fast. I remember Josh pulling Caleb down the aisle in the wagon. So cute. Then Caleb fell asleep during the wedding. Ahh. Sweet baby. You guys were so beautiful up there. Meant for each other. I hope you're having fun in Colorado.

It was our pastor's last day at church today. He's leaving to pursue other things that he's been wanting to do for a while. A couple of people got up to say something nice to him and his family in front of everyone in church before the service started. Then he said thank you to everyone and said thank you to his wife for standing by his side for the 12 years he was a pastor. I started crying, then we had to sing another worship song for the offering. I'm in the worship team at church. So, everyone saw me crying. But it's ok, everyone was sad. My husband is on the committee to search for a new pastor. Hopefully it won't take too long. But you also don't want to rush into anything. I have mixed feeling about our pastor leaving. I know his wife never wanted to be a pastor's wife. So, that must've been difficult for her. I was thinking a lot about my husband during this whole thing today. We've been discussing him going to seminary to become a pastor. I wasn't sure about it. We would be living in a fish bowl. But he feels very strongly about how he could impact people's lives by being a pastor. I don't doubt that he would be wonderful at it. I could get used to the idea of me being a pastor's wife. I just really feel like you have to be very conscience about everything that you do or say to people if you are a pastor. I am also concerned about how people will react to the fact that our oldest son has a mild form of Autism. I just need to trust in God, that He knows what he's doing. He will take care of us no matter what happens.

Caleb is currently downstairs, helping daddy make breakfast. Sweet little helper. He's going to be a chef. He loves to help us make meals.
Joshua is currently dressed in his long sleeve, button down, white shirt, tan dress pants, and Sombrero. He's listening to Mariachi music in his room. With the door closed. Hey, if that's all he does behind closed doors, I'll be a happy mom.
My husband is so wonderful. He's currently making breakfast. I smell the pancakes, sausage, & eggs. Mmm.
We're going to Disney on Ice.
Pray for us.

Weird Dream
I had a weird dream last night. Bob and I were renewing our vows. I was about to walk down the Isle, and I noticed that Bob wasn't there. Apparently he had some more tiling to do at his construction job. Another thing I noticed was that I still had a towel wrapped around my head, from the shower. I had no makeup on. We had a DJ, but I forgot to order the flowers. I was wearing street clothes. Then I was thinking to myself in the dream, Uhh, why aren't you wearing your wedding dress, you big fat cow? Doesn't it fit anymore? Man, at least put something white on, you lard a**. My parents were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. My mom starts yelling at me, I can't believe Bob isn't here yet. Where is he Karlene?! Everyone is staring at me impatiently. I heard a baby crying. My boys are running up and down the isle. Then I woke up. Thank God.
Wilco
Last night, my husband came half way down the stairs and asked me if we had anything on the calendar for April 29th. I looked, then said 'No, why?' He said, 'No reason, just checking.' Lies. So, he went back upstairs, and went back to his 'homework', or so I thought. He comes waltzing down the stairs about a half an hour later, grinning. I was like what? Why are you smiling like that? He's like oh no reason. Just that we're going to see Wilco on April 29th in San Diego! Oh my gosh. I could not believe it. I was disappointed the last time I saw them. Not because it was a bad concert or anything. Because our friends girlfriend apparently got sick and had to leave immediately. I was so angry. I thought to myself, why did we all drive in the same car again? She didn't seem so sick on the car ride home. She was talking' up a storm! Whatever. Next time, we either don't invite anyone that isn't a Wilco fan, or we take separate cars. I begged my husband to go to the New Years Eve concert in New York. It would've been like $2,000. He promised me whenever they come to California that we would go. I can't wait.

Disneyland
So, we went to California Disney today. We got year passes from my in-laws for Christmas. I saw many parents with two year olds on leashes. Very sad, I thought to myself. Then as the day progressed, I found myself really thinking about getting one of those. Not for my younger son, Caleb age 4. But for my older son, Joshua age 8. I know he has problems with coming to me when I call him. But you see, when there are Bamboo plants every ten yards that you walk, you cannot be bothered with anyone calling you away from that. He must touch it, stare at it, love it, be it. He. Loves. Bamboo. And who knew there would be so much of it there? There were also a lot of tourists there on vacation. That is pure heaven for Josh. I'm telling you, if you put Josh in a room full of people from different parts of the world, he will love you forever! If he got any indication if someone in front of him was not from here, he went right in front of them, and asked them 'Where are you from?' And then squealed with delight, because they were from Isreal, or India, or Canada, or better yet, Mexico. He. Loves. The World.
