New years resolutions
So, we started off the New Year right by joining LA Fitness again. They called us and asked if we wanted to join if they let us pay our old fee's. Umm, yes, that is a very good deal. So we took it. I went last night with Bob, and we worked out together. it was nice, tortuous, but nice to be alone with my husband.

Happy Birthday to my baby brother, Tommy!
We love you and we hope to see you soon.
My brothers, Bryan, and Philip, and my sis in law and I went to visit my dad in the new nursing home that he's in. He opens his eyes and turns his head toward me when I'm talking to him. We got there kind of late last night, after visiting hours were over. The nurse came in and said we shouldn't be there after 8. I didn't want to leave because he was awake, and I don't like leaving when he's awake. I started crying. I hadn't cried in front of him before.
I had a dream about him last night. I've had several dreams about my dad since the stroke. In this one, my dad was sitting next to me at a restaurant. He was feeling the side of his head and saying, "I think I had a nervous break down. I'm ok now though." We were all with him, and so happy to hear his voice. We haven't heard his voice in 7 weeks. But I'm so happy that he's still with us. I know he's made improvements since this has happened. It's very slow, but steady. I have faith in God that he is healing my dad.
Mark 16:17-18 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
Psalm 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all."
Isaiah 58:8 "Thy light shall break forth as the morning, and thy health shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee: the glory of the Lord shall be thy rear guard."

Joshua's 12th birthday!
I can't believe J is 12! he's as tall as me (5'6) and I still remember him being so small when we took him home from the hospital. We love you Joshy, and we know that you're growing up so strong and healthy, and smart. We hope you get bigger, stronger, and grow to love our Lord Jesus more and more. We love you Josh.
