Bad Day
My purse got stolen yesterday at Wal-Mart. We were in McDonald’s; we paid for the food, ate, and then went shopping. I put everything on the counter, and then looked down where my purse should've been. It was gone. I thought maybe the boys took it and threw it somewhere. I don't know what happened to it. Someone did take it though. No one turned it in. So, I had to call my mom collect, because my husband is in New Hampshire right now on business. He has our only cell phone. My dad came and got us. He's always the one to rescue us in a crisis. He's used to that, being he's a retired Sheriff. Anyhow, we go home, ask my neighbor for the spare key I gave her. My dad won't let us go in the house. He has to check it first. You know, in case the people that stole my purse were smart enough to look at my address on my license, and notice that my keys were also in the purse. We were safe. Luckily, my husband left his set of keys here. Now I can still drive. I can't do anything crazy though, I still don't have my license. I called the bank, to cancel my checkbook, and atm card. I called Target to get a new card. I called the DMV, and AAA. My dad put new locks on my door. That was fun, not! He fell asleep while trying to put the new locks on. He's a Diabetic. He'd been running around all day with everyone. He forgot to eat. I made him lay on the couch, and I made him a sandwich. He wouldn't wake up. I just let him sleep for a little bit, it was time for his nap. When he kind of woke up, his eyes were closed, but he was eating the sandwich. Then the bear finally came out of his cave. He was a tiny bit grouchy. But the door got finished. Hey, it was either my dad doing it, or Jose the fix it man, that doesn't really fix things. He just makes it worse.
